Manual · Chapter 4 of 5
Publications
A feed of posts written by the operator. Each publication has a slug (the URL), a title, and a body. History preserved by the fact log.
The entity
Entity id: publication:<slug>. The slug is chosen by the operator at creation time.
| attribute | type | notes |
|---|---|---|
slug | text | URL path segment, lowercase alphanumeric + hyphens |
title | text | headline, up to 77 chars |
body | text | content, up to 16,000 chars |
Who can write
Only the operator. Publications are the operator's voice — the editorial layer of the chronicle.
Slugs as timeboxes
The operator can name slugs however they want. If they want timebox-style naming, they can use slugs like 2026-winter-before or june-2026. The system doesn't enforce any structure.
